animal shelter sounds like something you actually enjoy. do that instead of what you feel will look “better” on your college app, and it’ll be more worthwhile. also, when you write your essay, you can focus on your exp in vol. there and mean it.

I need to choose something for community service, but I’m stuck on 3 things… help me choose pretty please :).
Art Council:
Pros-
- it’s about art
- there are parties
- for every hour I volunteer, I get $5 credit that I can use in their store or on art classes
Cons-
- it sounds really boring
Animal Shelter:
Pros-
- dogs
- cats
- puppies
- kitties
- I can get hours by just playing with them
- it’s really close to where I live
Cons-
- I have to get a tetanus shot
Medical Center:
Pros-
- it looks and sounds good for college
Cons-
- I hate it
